An example:
Picture yourself standing at the beginning of a beautiful trail. You're going to start to see the ground, the bright greenery, the abundant trees. Can you smell the crisp air? Can you feel the sunshine peeking through the trees, touching your skin? Are there birds or ocean waves nearby?
This path is your future, what you're working toward. This path will take you where you want to go.
But as a complex human, we cannot exist outside of everything we've experienced, and more than one thing is going to be true. This path is real, AND there are other paths around you that have shaped who you are right now.
This is when you remember those other paths. And as you look around you can see trail heads to paths you've chosen to walk away from or grown out of. #beentheredonethat #neveragain
This is the moment where you choose. You donât pretend that the other roads don't exist, because they do, they will always be a part of you, but you have choice. And as your mind allows itself to hold all that you have been, all that you currently are, and all that you desire, you start to notice the things from those paths that influence you. What may serve you, and what may not.

This is where thought observation, curiosity, and choice all come to meet. This is where meditation holds you steady, and journaling connects your internal experiences with your external world. This is where curiosity gives results - when you don't need answers, when you can allow yourself to explore.
